KVM Switch

A KVM switch, short for Keyboard, Video, and Mouse switch, is a hardware device that allows users to control multiple computers or servers using a single set of input/output devices (keyboard, monitor, and mouse). This technology is particularly useful in environments where space is limited, or where multiple computers need to be managed efficiently without the need for multiple sets of peripherals.

How Does a KVM Switch Work?

A KVM switch typically has multiple ports, each corresponding to a computer or server. Users connect their keyboard, monitor, and mouse to the KVM switch, which is then connected to the various computers or servers via cables.
