Eric Pouech 16bcc3bc29 winedbg: Synthetize pointer to type when not available. 
This ensures that we always have a type as pointer to a known <type>
(either because it exists in <type>'s module, or it's synthetized inside
debugger).

Nikolay Sivov a2f8f5f93f wmic: Handle properly list for GET verb.

Eric Pouech f8d3c2b203 winedbg: No longer hide current WineDbg process from 'info proc'. 
We used to hide current WineDbg instance when displaying processes' list
(command 'info proc'). This can potentially generate some "dangling"
processes in the hierarchy (related to this WineDbg instance):
- conhost.exe
- start.exe (when launched from unix shell without full path
  to winedbg.exe)

Also, print a more comprehensive error message when trying to attach to
itself (now that debugger's PID is more easily available).

Hugh McMaster 37bcbe6bca conhost: Save console settings as global defaults on first run. 
On Windows, HKCU\Console holds global default settings, while subkeys
hold any app-specific settings that differ from the defaults.

Wine's conhost.exe implementation currently saves all console settings
to an app-specific subkey on the first run, while global defaults are
only saved to HKCU\Console if the user selects 'Set Defaults' from the
pop-up menu and saves new settings. This is the opposite of console
behaviour on Windows.

Hugh McMaster da854c537d conhost: Reimplement font dialog handling. 
Much of the existing font dialog code is overly complicated and difficult
to follow. There are also bugs in the code, which cannot be fixed with
minimal changes due to the complexity of the existing source. For example,
changing the font face via the listbox unexpectedly changes the font size.
It is also unnecessary to recreate the list of available font sizes
each font face selection if the font type remains unchanged.

Rémi Bernon baebd3c14f plugplay: Use ncacn_np instead of ncalrpc transport. 
The ncacn_np should be used when the endpoint is a pipe, ncalrpc should
only be used with arbitrary named ports, which we translate into
\\pipe\lrpc\xxx pipe names.

Jinoh Kang ebc60f64e1 winedbg: Implement GDB qXfer object exec-file. 
Today, when gdbproxy is started with --no-start mode, GDB fails to
recognise the symbol file unless the `file` command or the
`sharedlibrary` command is explicitly issued.

Also, RHEL's downstream GDB complains with the following message:

  Remote gdbserver does not support determining executable automatically.
  RHEL <=6.8 and <=7.2 versions of gdbserver do not support such automatic executable detection.
  The following versions of gdbserver support it:
  - Upstream version of gdbserver (unsupported) 7.10 or later
  - Red Hat Developer Toolset (DTS) version of gdbserver from DTS 4.0 or later (only on x86_64)
  - RHEL-7.3 versions of gdbserver (on any architecture)

Fix this by implementing the qXfer object "exec-file".

Jinoh Kang f18c0db314 winedbg: Cache GDB qXfer command result for chunked fetching. 
GDB does not retrieve the result of a qXfer command at once; instead, it
issues a series of requests to obtain the result one "chunk" at a time,
and concatenates those chunks internally.  Each request contains offset
and length variables that specify which portion of the result shall be
retrieved.

Today, Winedbg handles this by generating the entire result data each
time a request is received and slicing out the requested range for the
response.  This is not only inefficient due to repeated computation,
but also prone to race condition since the result may change between
successive chunk requests due to the dynamic nature of some commands
such as "libraries" and "threads."

Fix this by cacheing the result into a buffer at the first request, and
use the buffer to serve successive chunk requests.  The cache is
invalidated when the remote requests a different object, or the debugger
reaches the end of the result cache buffer.

Jinoh Kang 26aee726fb winedbg: Buffer output of GDB qXfer commands for proper slicing. 
Today, gdbproxy reuses the same buffer for both the qXfer reply and the
actual GDB packet reply.  This worked well, since each byte in the qXfer
reply buffer matched 1:1 to each byte in the actual GDB reply packet.

Since we escape special characters now, this property no longer holds
and a single byte in qXfer reply will take up to two bytes in the GDB
reply packet.  This causes offsets to shift, preventing the
offset/length response slicing (part of GDB protocol) from working
correctly.

Fix this by writing the qXfer reply data in a separate buffer, and
performing slicing out of it.

Jinoh Kang f3478b4ec9 winedbg: Escape special characters in GDB packet reply. 
There are four special characters in GDB's remote serial protocol:

- '$' (0x24): start of packet
- '}' (0x7D): escape
- '*' (0x2A): run-length encoding repeat count delimiter
- '#' (0x23): end of packet; start of checksum

In particular, the '#' and '}' characters are problematic since they
are often used in library filenames.  A few examples:

- %SystemRoot%\assembly\NativeImages_v[.NET ver]\[module+hash]#\*\*.dll
- {CLSID or UUID}\*\.dll

To make GDB happy with those filenames, we scan for those characters and
escape them properly.

While we are at it, also remove the assert in the packet_reply function
that checks for '$' and '#' in the packet payload.

Zhiyi Zhang 53a0d57aff winecfg: Use OpenThemeDataForDpi() to create a theme handle not associated to a window. 
If a window is not passed to OpenThemeData(), OpenThemeData() assumes the DPI is 96 according to
tests. And GetThemePartSize() should select theme parts according to the DPI stored in theme
handles rather than using GDI device contexts. Thus, OpenThemeDataForDpi() should be used in place
of OpenThemeData() when DPI is not 96 and theme handles shouldn't be associated with a window.

Francois Gouget dc8ef75904 winetest: Create the -d directory if it does not exist already. 
'winetest.exe' automatically creates '%TEMP%\wct' (or an alternative new
directory).
'winetext.exe -x DIR' automatically creates DIR.
'winetest.exe -d DIR' now automatically creates DIR too.
In all cases newly created directories are removed after the tests.

Zhiyi Zhang 5cebefc24f winecfg: Don't convert font height to points when saving system font metrics. 
Fix tooltip font size becomes smaller after clicking the apply button in Desktop Integration tab.
For example, the original non-client area tooltip font lfHeight is -11. 11 pixels is 8 points in 96
DPI. Setting font size to 8 points to SPI_SETNONCLIENTMETRICS will make SPI_GETNONCLIENTMETRICS
report lfHeight as 8. With lfHeight being 8, CreateFontIndirectW() creates a smaller font. This
behavior is added by 5b8fdb9. I assume the intention was to save font size in a DPI-independent way.
However, when lfHeight is negative, lfHeight will still be scaled back to 96 DPI before saving it to
registry and scaled to system DPI when it's read from registry. So I think converting to points is
unnecessary.

Zhiyi Zhang bf6ed90cd6 winecfg: Set buddy window for the size up-down control only once. 
Fix the size up-down control becoming smaller every time the apply button is pressed in the Desktop
Integration tab.

UDM_SETBUDDY always shrinks the buddy window for a up-down control according to tests. And a
PSN_SETACTIVE notification is sent every time the apply button is pressed, thus init_dialog() gets
called again and sends an extra UDM_SETBUDDY message.
