Igor Mammedov b59a898458 tests: acpi: update expected tables blobs
Update adds CPU entries to MADT/SRAT/FACP and DSDT to cover 288 CPUs.
Notable changes are that CPUs with APIC ID 255 and higher
use 'Processor Local x2APIC Affinity' structure in SRAT and
"Device" element in DSDT.

FACP:
- Use APIC Cluster Model (V4) : 0

Ani Sinha 500eb21cff bios-tables-test: Update ACPI DSDT table golden blobs for q35
We have modified the IO address range for ACPI pci hotplug in q35. See change:

5adcc9e39e6a5 ("hw/i386/acpi: fix conflicting IO address range for acpi pci hotplug in q35")

The ACPI DSDT table golden blobs must be regenrated in order to make the unit tests
pass. This change updates the golden ACPI DSDT table blobs.

Following is the ASL diff between the blobs:

Ani Sinha 4280355231 tests/acpi: add DSDT.hpbrroot DSDT table blob to test global i440fx hotplug
This change adds a new DSDT golden master table blob to test disabling
hotplug on both pci root bus and pci bridges. Also reverts the change
in file bios-tables-test-allowed-diff.h to make sure its now empty so that
future modifications to acpi tables can be caught.

Ani Sinha 0ed93f4c05 tests/acpi: update golden master DSDT binary table blobs for q35
In the previously applied commit ("piix4: don't reserve hw resources when
hotplug is off globally"), we make changes to the ACPI DSDT tables
such that some ACPI code are not generated when bsel is absent. Since
as of this point in time, in q35 machines, we do not use bsel for pci
buses, we need to update the DSDT table blobs.
This patch updates the DSDT golden master tables for q35 machines.
At the same time, we clear bios-tables-test-allowed-diff.h for future
changes which update tables.

Following is a typical diff between the q35 acpi DSDT table blobs:

Ani Sinha 8b434b031f tests/acpi: add newly added acpi DSDT table blob for pci bridge hotplug flag
This patch adds a binary blob corresponding to the DSDT acpi table. It is used
to unit test the flag 'acpi-pci-hotplug-with-bridge-support' used with pci
bridges.

This change also clears the file tests/qtest/bios-tables-test-allowed-diff.h
so that future changes which affect the table can be caught.

The following is the diff between files tests/data/acpi/pc/DSDT.bridge and

Igor Mammedov 6e2e2e8a42 tests: acpi: update acpi blobs with new AML
here is diff against tests/data/acpi/q35/DSDT
for currently shipped ovmf binary.
(once firmware blob is updated, it will negotiate CPU hotplug
feature which will ad extra hunk sending SMI and Q35 tests will
need to be updated), but otherwise diff shows new CPU hotplug
AML that is shared between q35 and pc machines.

Laszlo Ersek 8fa3b7029f tests: acpi: update "virt/SSDT.memhp" for edk2-stable202008
The NVDIMM_ACPI_MEM_ADDR dword in "virt/SSDT.memhp" needs an update due to
the firmware now allocating NVDIMM_DSM_MEM_FILE at a lower address.

This is in preparation to update test_acpi_virt_tcg_memhp()

This is so I2C devices can be found in the ACPI namespace. Currently
that's only IPMI, but devices can be easily added now.

to be added to the PCMachineState structure.

Note that this only works on Q35, the ACPI for PIIX4 is not capable
of handling an SMBus device.

Philippe Mathieu-Daudé fa59483d36 tests/bios-tables: Improve portability by searching bash in the $PATH
Bash is not always installed as /bin/bash. In particular on OpenBSD,
the package installs it in /usr/local/bin.
Use the 'env' shebang to search bash in the $PATH.

Peter Maydell 4b2ff65a1f tests: Move tests/hex-loader-check-data/ to tests/data/hex-loader/
Currently tests/hex-loader-check-data contains data files used
by the hexloader-test, and configure individually symlinks those
data files into the build directory using a wildcard.

Using a wildcard like this is a bad idea, because if a new
data file is added, nothing causes configure to be rerun,
and so no symlink is added for the new file. This can cause
tests to spuriously fail when they can't find their data.
Instead, it's better to symlink an entire directory of
data files. We already have such a directory: tests/data.

Move the data files from tests/hex-loader-check-data/ to
tests/data/hex-loader/, and remove the unnecessary symlinking.

Currently tests/acpi-test-data contains data files used by the

data files into the build directory using a wildcard.

Using a wildcard like this is a bad idea, because if a new
data file is added, nothing causes configure to be rerun,

Instead, it's better to symlink an entire directory of
data files. We already have such a directory: tests/data.

Move the data files from tests/acpi-test-data/ to
tests/data/acpi/, and remove the unnecessary symlinking.

We can remove entirely the note in rebuild-expected-aml.sh
about copying any new data files, because now they will
be in the source directory, not the build directory, and
no copying is required.

(We can't just change the existing tests/acpi-test-data/
to being a symlinked directory, because if we did that and
a developer switched git branches from one after that change
to one before it then configure would end up trashing all
the test files by making them symlinks to themselves.
Changing their path avoids this annoyance.)
