Here is the big set of tty and serial driver changes for 6.8-rc1. As usual, Jiri has a bunch of refactoring and cleanups for the tty core and drivers in here, along with the usual set of rs485 updates (someday this might work properly...) Along with those, in here are changes for: - sc16is7xx serial driver updates - platform driver removal api updates - amba-pl011 driver updates - tty driver binding updates - other small tty/serial driver updates and changes All of these have been in linux-next for a while with no reported issues. There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
