On RTAS compliant pSeries platform, there is a dedicated RTAS call
(ibm,set-slot-reset) to reset the specified PE. Furthermore, two
types of resets are supported: hot and fundamental. the type of
reset is to be used actually depends on the included PCI device's
requirements.
The patch implements resetting PE on pSeries platform through RTAS
call. Besides, it has been abstracted through struct eeh_ops::reset
so that EEH core components could support multiple platforms in future.

On pSeries platform, the PE state might be temporarily unavailable.
In that case, the firmware will return the corresponding wait time.
That means the kernel has to wait for appropriate time in order to
get the PE state.
The patch does the implementation for that. Besides, the function
has been abstracted through struct eeh_ops::wait_state so that EEH core
components could support multiple platforms in future.

There're 2 types of addresses used for EEH operations. The first
one would be BDF (Bus/Device/Function) address which is retrieved
from the reg property of the corresponding FDT node. Another one
is PE address that should be enquired from firmware through RTAS
call on pSeries platform. When issuing EEH operation, the PE address
has precedence over BDF address.
The patch implements retrieving PE address according to the given
BDF address on pSeries platform. Also, the struct eeh_early_enable_info
has been removed since the information can be figured out from
dn->pdn->phb->buid directly and that simplifies the code.

There're 4 EEH operations that are covered by the dedicated RTAS
call <ibm,set-eeh-option>: enable or disable EEH, enable MMIO and
enable DMA. At early stage of system boot, the EEH would be tried
to enable on PCI device related device node. MMIO and DMA for
particular PE should be enabled when doing recovery on EEH errors
so that the PE could function properly again.
The patch implements it and abstract that through struct
eeh_ops::set_eeh. It would be help for EEH to support multiple
platforms in future.

The platform specific EEH operations have been abstracted by
struct eeh_ops. The individual platroms, including pSeries, needs
doing necessary initialization before the platform dependent EEH
operations work properly.
The patch is addressing that and do necessary platform initialization
for pSeries platform. More specificly, it will figure out the tokens
of EEH related RTAS calls.

EEH has been implemented on RTAS-compliant pSeries platform.
That's to say, the EEH operations will be implemented through RTAS
calls eventually. The situation limited feasible extension on EEH.
In order to support EEH on multiple platforms like pseries and powernv
simutaneously. We have to split the platform dependent EEH options
up out of current implementation.
The patch addresses supporting EEH on multiple platforms. The pseries
platform dependent EEH operations will be abstracted by struct eeh_ops.
EEH core components will be built based on the registered EEH operations.
With the mechanism, what the individual platform needs to do is implement
platform dependent EEH operations.
For now, the pseries platform is covered under the mechanism. That means
we have to think about other platforms to support EEH, like powernv.
Besides, we only have framework for the mechanism and we have to implement
it for pseries platform later.

* There're multiple functions implemented for resetting PE. The
position of those functions have been move around so that they
are adjacent to each other to reflect their relationship.

We already use pci_flags, so this just sets pci_flags directly and removes
the intermediate step of figuring out pci_probe_only, then using it to set
pci_flags.
The PCI core provides a pci_flags definition (currently __weak), so drop
the powerpc definitions in favor of that.

pci_probe_only is set on ppc64 to prevent resource re-allocation
by the core. It's meant to be used in very specific circumstances
such as when operating under a hypervisor that may prevent such
re-allocation.
Instead of default to 1, we make it default to 0 and explicitly
set it in the few cases where we need it.
This fixes FSL PCI which wants it clear among others.

There are two separate flags controlling whether or not the MPIC is
reset during initialization, which is completely unnecessary, and only
one of them can be specified in the device tree.
Also, most platforms in-tree right now do actually want to reset the
MPIC during initialization anyways, which means lots of duplicate code
passing the MPIC_WANTS_RESET flag.
Fix all of the callers which currently do not pass the MPIC_WANTS_RESET
flag to pass the MPIC_NO_RESET flag, then remove the MPIC_WANTS_RESET
flag and make the code reset the MPIC by default.

The mpic->irq_count variable is only used as a software error-checking
limit to determine whether or not an IRQ number is valid. In board code
which does not manually specify an IRQ count to mpic_alloc(), i.e. 0, it
is automatically detected from the number of ISUs and the ISU size.
In practice, all hardware ends up with irq_count == num_sources, so all
of the runtime checks on mpic->irq_count should just check the value of
mpic->num_sources instead.
When platform hardware does not correctly report the number of IRQs,
which only happens on the MPC85xx/MPC86xx, the MPIC_BROKEN_FRR_NIRQS
flag is used to override the detected value of num_sources with the
manual irq_count parameter. Since there's no need to manually specify
the number of IRQs except in this case, the extra flag can be eliminated
and the test changed to "irq_count != 0".

Only two architectures use the OF node reference counting and reclaim bits.
There is no need to compile it for the rest of the PowerPC platforms or for
any of the other architectures. This patch makes iseries and pseries
select CONFIG_OF_DYNAMIC, and makes it default to off for everything else.
It is still safe to turn on CONFIG_OF_DYNAMIC on all architectures, it just
isn't necessary.

Wrap accesses to the fd_sets in struct fdtable (for recording open files and
close-on-exec flags) so that we can move away from using fd_sets since we
abuse the fd_set structs by not allocating the full-sized structure under
normal circumstances and by non-core code looking at the internals of the
fd_sets.
The first abuse means that use of FD_ZERO() on these fd_sets is not permitted,
since that cannot be told about their abnormal lengths.
This introduces six wrapper functions for setting, clearing and testing
close-on-exec flags and fd-is-open flags:

Each revmap type has different arguments for setting up the revmap.
This patch splits up the generator functions so that each revmap type
can do its own setup and the user doesn't need to keep track of how
each revmap type handles the arguments.
This patch also adds a host_data argument to the generators. There are
cases where the host_data pointer will be needed before the function returns.
ie. the legacy map calls the .map callback for each irq before returning.

This patch drops the powerpc-specific irq_host structures and uses the common
irq_domain strucutres defined in linux/irqdomain.h. It also fixes all
the users to use the new structure names.
Renaming irq_host to irq_domain has been discussed for a long time, and this
patch is a step in the process of generalizing the powerpc virq code to be
usable by all architecture.
An astute reader will notice that this patch actually removes the irq_host
structure instead of renaming it. This is because the irq_domain structure
already exists in include/linux/irqdomain.h and has the needed data members.

EEH may happen during a PCI driver probe. If the driver is trying to
access some register in a loop, the EEH code will try to print the
driver name. But the driver pointer in struct pci_dev is not set until
probe returns successfully.
Use a function to test if the device and the driver pointer is NULL
before accessing the driver's name.

We call the cache_hwirq_map() function with a linux IRQ number
but it expects a HW irq number. This triggers a BUG on multic-chip
setups in addition to not doing the right thing.

It appears that on the Chroma card, the class code of the root
complex is still wrong even on DD2 or later chips. This could
be a firmware issue, but that breaks resource allocation so let's
unconditionally fix it up.

Recent changes to the handling of PCI resources for host bridges
are breaking the PowerNV code for assigning resources on IODA.
The root of the problem is that the pci_bus attached to a host
bridge no longer has its "legacy" resource pointers populated
but only uses the newer list instead.

Tracepoints should not be called inside an rcu_idle_enter/rcu_idle_exit
region. Since pSeries calls H_CEDE in the idle loop, we were violating
this rule.
commit a7b152d534 (powerpc: Tell RCU about idle after hcall tracing)
tried to work around it by delaying the rcu_idle_enter until after we
called the hcall tracepoint, but there are a number of issues with it.
The hcall tracepoint trampoline code is called conditionally when the
tracepoint is enabled. If the tracepoint is not enabled we never call
rcu_idle_enter. The idle_uses_rcu check was also done at compile time
which breaks multiplatform builds.
The simple fix is to avoid tracing H_CEDE and rely on other tracepoints
and the hypervisor dispatch trace log to work out if we called H_CEDE.
This fixes a hang during boot on pSeries.

Fix up a trivial conflict in arch/powerpc/include/asm/cputime.h due to
the additional sparse-checking code for cputime_t.
This resolves the conflict in the arch/arm/mach-s3c64xx/s3c6400.c file,
and it fixes the build error in the arch/x86/kernel/microcode_core.c
file, that the merge did not catch.
The microcode_core.c patch was provided by Stephen Rothwell
<sfr@canb.auug.org.au> who was invaluable in the merge issues involved
with the large sysdev removal process in the driver-core tree.

The commit 883c2cfc8b:
"fix of_flat_dt_is_compatible() to match the full compatible string"
causes silent boot death on the sbc8349 board because it was
just looking for 8349 and not 8349E -- as originally there
were non-E (no SEC/encryption) chips available. Just add the
E to the board detection string since all boards I've seen
were manufactured with the E versions.

Seeing that just about every destructor got that INIT_LIST_HEAD() copied into
it, there is no point whatsoever keeping this INIT_LIST_HEAD in inode_init_once();
the cost of taking it into inode_init_always() will be negligible for pipes
and sockets and negative for everything else. Not to mention the removal of
boilerplate code from ->destroy_inode() instances...

Unpaired calling of probe_hcall_entry and probe_hcall_exit might happen
as following, which could cause incorrect preempt count.
__trace_hcall_entry => trace_hcall_entry -> probe_hcall_entry =>
get_cpu_var => preempt_disable
__trace_hcall_exit => trace_hcall_exit -> probe_hcall_exit =>
put_cpu_var => preempt_enable
where:
A => B and A -> B means A calls B, but
=> means A will call B through function name, and B will definitely be
called.
-> means A will call B through function pointer, so B might not be
called if the function pointer is not set.
So error happens when only one of probe_hcall_entry and probe_hcall_exit
get called during a hcall.
This patch tries to move the preempt count operations from
probe_hcall_entry and probe_hcall_exit to its callers.

The sysdev.h file should not be needed by any in-kernel code, so remove
the .h file from these random files that seem to still want to include
it.
The sysdev code will be going away soon, so this include needs to be

This moves the 'cpu sysdev_class' over to a regular 'cpu' subsystem
and converts the devices to regular devices. The sysdev drivers are
implemented as subsystem interfaces now.
After all sysdev classes are ported to regular driver core entities, the
sysdev implementation will be entirely removed from the kernel.
Userspace relies on events and generic sysfs subsystem infrastructure
from sysdev devices, which are made available with this conversion.

The MPIC_PRIMARY define was recently made "default" and the meaning was
inverted to MPIC_SECONDARY. This causes compile errors in currituck now, so
fix it to the new manner of allocating mpics.

In the old days, we treated all interrupts from the legacy Apple home made
interrupt controllers as level, with a trick reading the "level" register
along with the "event" register to work arounds bugs where it would
occasionally fail to latch some events.
Doing so appeared to work fine for both level and edge interrupts.
Later on, we discovered in Darwin source the magic masks that define which
interrupts are actually level and which are edge, and implemented a
different algorithm, more similar to what Apple does, that treats those
differently.
I recently discovered however that this caused problems (including loss
of interrupts) with an old Wallstreet PowerBook when trying to use the
internal modem (connected to a cascaded controller).
It looks like some interrupts are treated as edge while they are really
level and I'm starting to seriously doubt the correctness of the Darwin
code (which has other obvious bugs when you read it, so ...)
This patch reverts to our original behaviour of treating everything as
a level interrupt. It appears to solve the problems with the modem on
the Wallstreet and everything else seems to be working properly as well.

Those two APIs were provided to optimize the calls of
tick_nohz_idle_enter() and rcu_idle_enter() into a single
irq disabled section. This way no interrupt happening in-between would
needlessly process any RCU job.
Now we are talking about an optimization for which benefits
have yet to be measured. Let's start simple and completely decouple
idle rcu and dyntick idle logics to simplify.

The PowerPC pSeries platform (CONFIG_PPC_PSERIES=y) enables
hypervisor-call tracing for CONFIG_TRACEPOINTS=y kernels. One of the
hypervisor calls that is traced is the H_CEDE call in the idle loop
that tells the hypervisor that this OS instance no longer needs the
current CPU. However, tracing uses RCU, so this combination of kernel
configuration variables needs to avoid telling RCU about the current CPU's
idleness until after the H_CEDE-entry tracing completes on the one hand,
and must tell RCU that the the current CPU is no longer idle before the
H_CEDE-exit tracing starts.
In all other cases, it suffices to inform RCU of CPU idleness upon
idle-loop entry and exit.
This commit makes the required adjustments.

It is assumed that rcu won't be used once we switch to tickless
mode and until we restart the tick. However this is not always
true, as in x86-64 where we dereference the idle notifiers after
the tick is stopped.
To prepare for fixing this, add two new APIs:
tick_nohz_idle_enter_norcu() and tick_nohz_idle_exit_norcu().
If no use of RCU is made in the idle loop between
tick_nohz_enter_idle() and tick_nohz_exit_idle() calls, the arch
must instead call the new *_norcu() version such that the arch doesn't
need to call rcu_idle_enter() and rcu_idle_exit().
Otherwise the arch must call tick_nohz_enter_idle() and
tick_nohz_exit_idle() and also call explicitly:
- rcu_idle_enter() after its last use of RCU before the CPU is put
to sleep.
- rcu_idle_exit() before the first use of RCU after the CPU is woken
up.

The tick_nohz_stop_sched_tick() function, which tries to delay
the next timer tick as long as possible, can be called from two
places:
- From the idle loop to start the dytick idle mode
- From interrupt exit if we have interrupted the dyntick
idle mode, so that we reprogram the next tick event in
case the irq changed some internal state that requires this
action.
There are only few minor differences between both that
are handled by that function, driven by the ts->inidle
cpu variable and the inidle parameter. The whole guarantees
that we only update the dyntick mode on irq exit if we actually
interrupted the dyntick idle mode, and that we enter in RCU extended
quiescent state from idle loop entry only.
Split this function into:
- tick_nohz_idle_enter(), which sets ts->inidle to 1, enters
dynticks idle mode unconditionally if it can, and enters into RCU
extended quiescent state.
- tick_nohz_irq_exit() which only updates the dynticks idle mode
when ts->inidle is set (ie: if tick_nohz_idle_enter() has been called).
To maintain symmetry, tick_nohz_restart_sched_tick() has been renamed
into tick_nohz_idle_exit().
This simplifies the code and micro-optimize the irq exit path (no need
for local_irq_save there). This also prepares for the split between
dynticks and rcu extended quiescent state logics. We'll need this split to
further fix illegal uses of RCU in extended quiescent states in the idle
loop.

* early_init_devtree(): Total memory size is aligned to PAGE_SIZE;
however, alignment isn't enforced if memory_limit is explicitly
specified. Simplify the logic and always apply PAGE_SIZE alignment.
* MMU_init(): memblock regions is truncated by directly modifying
memblock.memory.cnt. This is incomplete (reserved array is not
truncated) and unnecessarily low level hindering further memblock
improvments. Use memblock_enforce_memory_limit() instead.
* wii_memory_fixups(): Unnecessarily low level direct manipulation of
memblock regions. The same result can be achieved using properly
abstracted operations. Reimplement using memblock API.

When issuing a system reset we almost always oops in the oops_to_nvram
code because multiple CPUs are using the deflate work area. Add a
spinlock to protect it.
To play it safe I'm using trylock to avoid locking up if the NVRAM
code oopses. This means we might miss multiple CPUs oopsing at exactly
the same time but I think it's best to play it safe for now. Once we
are happy with the reliability we can change it to a full spinlock.

At present, on the powernv platform, if you off-line a CPU that was
online, and then try to on-line it again, the kernel generates a
warning message "OPAL Error -1 starting CPU n". Furthermore, if the
CPU is a secondary thread that was used by KVM while it was off-line,
the CPU fails to come online.
The first problem is fixed by only calling OPAL to start the CPU the
first time it is on-lined, as indicated by the cpu_start field of its
PACA being zero. The second problem is fixed by restoring the
cpu_start field to 1 instead of 0 when using the CPU within KVM.

So I've had one of these for a while and it looks like the vendor never
bothered submitting the support upstream.
This adds it using ppc40x_simple and provides a device-tree.
There are some changes to the boot wrapper because the way u-boot works
on this thing, it seems to expect a multipart image with the kernel,
initrd and dtb in it.
The USB support is missing as it needs the yet unmerged driver for
the DWC OTG part and the GPIOs may need further definition in the dts.

We've had a 180 second panic timeout on ppc64 for as long as I
can remember. This patch reduces it to 10 seconds on pseries for a few
reasons:
- Almost all pseries machines have a hypervisor console so panic
output will be available in a scrollback buffer.
- The 180 seconds impacts our availability, users (other than
kernel hackers) just want the box to come back around so it
can continue its work.
- I spend a lot of my life staring at the 180 second panic timeout.
Many pseries machines take minutes to power cycle, so it's quicker
to sit through the 180 seconds than it is to power cycle.

This patch makes pseries_idle_driver not to be registered when
power_save=off kernel boot option is specified. The
cpuidle_disable variable used here is similar to
its usage on x86. If cpuidle_disable is set then
sysfs entries for cpuidle framework are not created
and the required drivers are not loaded.

This patch enables cpuidle for pSeries and pSeries_idle is
directly called from the idle loop. As a result of pSeries_idle, cpuidle
driver registered with cpuidle subsystem comes into action. On
failure of loading of the driver or cpuidle framework default idle
is executed as part of the function. This patch
also removes the routines pseries_shared_idle_sleep and
pseries_dedicated_idle_sleep as they are now implemented as part of
pseries_idle cpuidle driver.

This patch implements a back-end cpuidle driver for pSeries
based on pseries_dedicated_idle_loop and pseries_shared_idle_loop
routines. The driver is built only if CONFIG_CPU_IDLE is set. This
cpuidle driver uses global registration of idle states and
not per-cpu.

The Cell and PowerMac platforms use virtually identical cascaded-IRQ
setup code, so just merge it into the core. Ideally this code would
trigger automatically when an MPIC device-node specifies an "interrupts"
property, perhaps even enabling MPIC_SECONDARY along the way.
Unfortunately, Benjamin Herrenschmidt has had bad experiences in the
past with the quality of Apple PowerMac device-trees, so to be safe we
will only try to parse out an IRQ if the MPIC_SECONDARY flag is set by
the caller.

It turns out that there are only 2 in-tree platforms which use MPICs
which are not "primary": IBM Cell and PowerMac. To reduce the
complexity of the typical board setup code, invert the MPIC_PRIMARY bit
into MPIC_SECONDARY.

Almost all PowerPC platforms use a standard "open-pic" device node so
the mpic_alloc() function now accepts NULL for the device-node. This
will cause it to perform a default search with of_find_matching_node().

The MPIC code can already perform an automatic OF address translation
step as part of mpic_alloc(), but several boards need to use that base
address when they perform mpic_assign_isu().
The easiest solution is to save the computed physical address into the
"struct mpic" for later use by the board code.

Instead of using the open-coded "reg" property lookup and address
translation in mpic_alloc(), directly call of_address_to_resource().
This includes various workarounds for special cases which the naive
of_address_translate() does not.
Afterwards it is possible to remove the copiously copy-pasted calls to
of_address_translate() from the 85xx/86xx/powermac platforms.

The AppliedMicro APM8018X embedded processor targets embedded applications that
require low power and a small footprint. It features a PowerPC 405 processor
core built in a 65nm low-power CMOS process with a five-stage pipeline executing
up to one instruction per cycle. The family has 128-kbytes of on-chip memory,
a 128-bit local bus and on-chip DDR2 SDRAM controller with 16-bit interface.

This adds support for p7IOC (and possibly other IODA v1 IO Hubs)
using OPAL v2 interfaces.
We completely take over resource assignment and assign them using an
algorithm that hands out device BARs in a way that makes them fit in
individual segments of the M32 window of the bridge, which enables us
to assign individual PEs to devices and functions.
The current implementation gives out a PE per functions on PCIe, and a
PE for the entire bridge for PCIe to PCI-X bridges.
This can be adjusted / fine tuned later.
We also setup DMA resources (32-bit only for now) and MSIs (both 32-bit
and 64-bit MSI are supported).
The DMA allocation tries to divide the available 256M segments of the
32-bit DMA address space "fairly" among PEs. This is done using a
"weight" heuristic which assigns less value to things like OHCI USB
controllers than, for example SCSI RAID controllers. This algorithm
will probably want some fine tuning for specific devices or device
types.

This patch add the Chroma platform to WSP/PowerEN, which is a PCIe
card (a defconfig is included).
The card includes an H8 service processor that is used to manage the
card. The H8 is connected over the second serial UART on the PowerEN
chip so this patch includes a simple 16550 driver to enable
communication, mostly for "power off" and "rebooting".
This patch also includes a, WSP specific, "halt" method that will shut
of all A2 cores but still leave power on at the chip level. This is
desirable, especially if you wish to interrogate the chip with a
hardware probe after the halt.

This patch adds a fault handler that responds to illegal Coprocessor
types. Currently all CTs are treated and illegal. There are two ways
to report the fault back to the application. If the application used
the record form ("icswx.") then the architected "reject" is emulated.
If the application did not used the record form ("icswx") then it is
selectable by config whether the failure is silent (as architected) or
a SIGILL is generated.
In all cases pr_warn() is used to log the bad CT.

Some pseries IOMMUs cache TCEs but don't snoop when the TCEs are changed
in memory, hence we need manually invalidate in software.
This adds code to do the invalidate. It keys off a device tree property
to say where the to do the MMIO for the invalidate and some information
on what the format of the invalidate including some magic routing info.
it_busno get overloaded with this magic routing info and it_index with
the MMIO address for the invalidate command.
This then gets hooked into the building and freeing of TCEs.
This is only useful on bare metal pseries. pHyp takes care of this when
virtualised.

Traditionally mpc830x_rdb board file searched for mpc8308-pcie devices.
However both in-kernel dts from the beginning declared those pcie units
as compatible with mpc8314-pci, which is handled by mpc83xx_setup_pci().
Drop special handling for mpc8308 and use common function instead.

83xx board files have a lot of duplication in

The only leftover is mpc834x_itx.c board file which explicitly asks for
fsl,pq2pro-localbus, as corresponding bindings don't provide
"simple-bus" compatibility in localbus node.

The driver for the Freescale P3060 QDS got added by commit 96cc017c5b
("[...] Add support for P3060QDS board"). Its Kconfig entry selects
MPC8xxx_GPIO. But at the time that driver got added MPC8xxx_GPIO was
already renamed to GPIO_MPC8XXX, by commit c68308dd50 ("gpio: move
mpc8xxx/512x gpio driver to drivers/gpio").
So make this driver select GPIO_MPC8XXX.

Fixes the PS3 bootup hang introduced in 3.0-rc1 by:

sched: Move the second half of ttwu() to the remote cpu
Move the PS3's LV1 EOI call lv1_end_of_interrupt_ext() from ps3_chip_eoi()
to ps3_get_irq() for IPI messages.
If lv1_send_event_locally() is called between a previous call to
lv1_send_event_locally() and the coresponding call to
lv1_end_of_interrupt_ext() the second event will not be delivered to the
target cpu.
The PS3's SMP IPIs are implemented using lv1_send_event_locally(), so if two
IPI messages of the same type are sent to the same target in a relatively
short period of time the second IPI event can become lost when
lv1_end_of_interrupt_ext() is called from ps3_chip_eoi().

We run all interrupt handlers with interrupts disabled
and we even check and yell when an interrupt handler
returns with interrupts enabled (see commit [b738a50a:
genirq: Warn when handler enables interrupts]).
So now this flag is a NOOP and can be removed.

The P3060QDS is a Freescale reference board that hosts the six-core P3060 SOC.
The P3060 Processor combines six e500mc Power Architecture processor cores with
high-performance datapath acceleration architecture(DPAA), CoreNet fabric
infrastructure, as well as network and peripheral interfaces.
P3060QDS Board Overview:

- 2G Bytes unbuffered DDR3 SDRAM SO-DIMM(64bit bus)
- 128M Bytes NOR flash single-chip memory
- 16M Bytes SPI flash
- 8K Bytes AT24C64 I2C EEPROM

- 4x1G + 4x1G/2.5G Ethernet controllers
- 2xRGMII + 1xMII, three VSC8641 PHYs on board

This patch add support for calling ctrl_alt_del() when the power button is
pressed for more than about 2 seconds on some freescale MPC83xx evaluation
boards and reference design.
The code uses a kthread to poll the CTRL_BTN bit each second.
Also change Kconfig entry of the driver to bool, as device's gpio
registration is broken when loading as module.
Tested on an MPC8315E RDB board.

This is not strictly required, because this iterates over logical
cpus and they are not (currently) discontigous. But, it's cleaner
code and more obvious what is going on

None of the files touched here are modules, and they are not
exporting any symbols either -- so there is no need to be including
the module.h. Builds of all the files remains successful.
Even kernel/module.c does not need to include it, since it includes
linux/moduleloader.h instead.

All these files were including module.h just for the basic
EXPORT_SYMBOL infrastructure. We can shift them off to the
export.h header which is a way smaller footprint and thus
realize some compile time gains.

This file is only exporting symbols and so should use export.h
and not module.h header. But in doing the conversion, we will
uncover that it was implicitly using errno.h via module.h:

We can convert this file to using export.h since it only wants

This has been relying on the fact that the parent file would have
module.h (and thus nearly everything) present. But once we fix that,
we'll get stuck with this failure:
