Emil Tantilov 0333464f5f ixgbevf: fix possible crashes in probe and remove
This patch resolves couple of issues in ixgbevf_probe/remove():

1. Fix a case where adapter->state is tested after free_netdev() this is
same as the patch for ixgbe from Daniel Borkmann <dborkman@redhat.com>:
commit b5b2ffc057 ("ixgbe: fix use after free adapter->state test in ixgbe_remove/ixgbe_probe")

2. Move pci_set_drvdata() after all the error checks in ixgbevf_probe() and
then add a check in ixgbevf_probe() to avoid running the cleanup functions
twice in cases where probe failed.

Emil Tantilov 47068b0ddf ixgbevf: add support for X550 VFs
This patch adds initial support for VFs on a new mac - X550.

The patch adds the basic structures and device IDs for the X550 VFs
that would allow the driver to load and pass traffic.

Emil Tantilov 6622402a72 ixgbevf: compare total_rx_packets and budget in ixgbevf_clean_rx_irq
total_rx_packets is the number of packets we had cleaned, and budget is
the total number of packets that we could clean per poll. Instead of
altering both of these values we can save ourselves one write to memory by
just comparing total_rx_packets to the budget and as long as we are less
than budget we continue cleaning.

Also change the do{}while logic to while{} in order to avoid processing
packets when budget is 0.

Emil Tantilov bad17234ba ixgbevf: Change receive model to use double buffered page based receives
This patch changes the basic receive path for ixgbevf so that instead of
receiving the data into an skb it is received into a double buffered page.
The main change is that the receives will be done in pages only and then
pull the header out of the page and copy it into the sk_buff data.

This has the advantages of reduced cache misses and improved performance on
IOMMU enabled systems.

v2:
- added pfmemalloc check to a new function for reusable page
- moved atomic_inc outside of #if/else in ixgbevf_add_rx_frag()
- reverted the removal of the api check in ixgbevf_change_mtu()

Emil Tantilov 4b95fe3de7 ixgbevf: Update Rx next to clean in real time
Since the next_to_clean value is only accessed by the Rx interrupt handler
we can save on stack space by just storing our updated values back in
next_to_clean instead of using the stack variable i. This should help to
reduce stack space and we can further collapse the size of the function.

Also removed non_eop_descs counter as it was never shown in the stats.

Instead of keeping a local copy of the status bits from the descriptor
we can just read them directly - this is accomplished with the addition
of ixgbevf_test_staterr().

In addition instead of doing a byteswap on the status bits value, we
can byteswap the constant values we are testing since that can be done
at compile time which should help to improve performance on big-endian

because register accesses prior to that time can detect a removal

Alexander Gordeev 5c1e358802 ixgbevf: Use pci_enable_msix_range() instead of pci_enable_msix()
As result of deprecation of MSI-X/MSI enablement functions
pci_enable_msix() and pci_enable_msi_block() all drivers
using these two interfaces need to be updated to use the
new pci_enable_msi_range() and pci_enable_msix_range()
interfaces.

Emil Tantilov 29d37fa162 ixgbevf: merge ixgbevf_tx_map and ixgbevf_tx_queue into a single function
This change merges the ixgbevf_tx_map call and the ixgbevf_tx_queue call
into a single function. In order to make room for this setting of cmd_type
and olinfo flags is done in separate functions.

Emil Tantilov 9bdfefd21a ixgbevf: redo dma mapping using the tx buffer info
This patch takes advantage of the dma buffer always being present in the
first descriptor and mapped as single. As such we can call dma_unmap_single
and don't need to check for DMA mapping in ixgbevf_clean_tx_irq().

In addition this patch makes use of the DMA API.

Emil Tantilov 7ad1a09351 ixgbevf: make the first tx_buffer a repository for most of the skb info
This change makes it so that the first tx_buffer structure acts as a
central storage location for most of the info about the skb we are about
to transmit.

In addition this patch makes tx_flags part of the ixgbevf_tx_buffer struct.
This allows us to use the flags directly from the stucture and as result
removes the tx_flags parameter from some functions. Also as a cleanup
mapped_as_page is folded into tx_flags and some unused flags were removed.

Emil Tantilov 9703192219 ixgbevf: remove counters for Tx/Rx checksum offload
This patch removes the Tx/Rx counters for checksum offload.

The Tx counter was never updated and the Rx counter is of limited use.
This is in effort to clean up the counters and make them consistent
with the counters shown by ixgbe.

Also this patch removes some members of the adapter structure that were
never used and shuffles others to reduce number of holes.

Emil Tantilov 05d063aa86 ixgbevf: make use of the dev pointer in the ixgbevf_ring struct
This patch cleans up the code by removing the adapter structure as
parameter from multiple functions. The adapter structure was previously
being used to access the dev pointer, but this can also be done via the
ixgbevf_ring structure. This way we can drop the adapter as parameter from
these functions.

This patch also includes small cleanups in some error code paths.

Don Skidmore de02decb33 ixgbevf: create function for all of ring init
This patch creates new functions for ring initialization,
ixgbevf_configure_tx_ring() and ixgbevf_configure_rx_ring(). The work done
in these function previously was spread between several other functions and
this change should hopefully lead to greater readability and make the code
more like ixgbe. This patch also moves the placement of some older functions
to avoid having to write prototypes. It also promotes a couple of debug
messages to errors.

This will change how we store rings arrays in the adapter sturct.
We use to have a pointer to an array now we will be using an array

so that each is on a local node if needed.
