Since the last patch made the ENTER_UART command optional, the
enter_uart option and its corresponding flag have become superfluous.
The uart_enter option remains for backward compatibility but just prints
a warning when used.

Fix the output of Gateway laptops with STAC9200 codec chip.
They require the EAPD control for some pins. These pins shouldn't be
powered down.
To enable EAPD control, a new model 'gateway' was added to STAC9200.
The known PCI SSIDs are included in the quirk list.
The fix was originally suggested by Brian Hinz, in ALSA bug#2948.

Integrated MPU-401/OPL3 ports are available with chip version 39 and
later, so we do not test for the port with version 37.
Now that the test is known to work, we can again enable the MIDI port by
default.

Use the standard firmware loader for loading ICS2115 OS firmware file.
This is the last old bad guy that is still using sys_open() and sys_read()
calls, and now all should be gone.
The patch also adds the missing description of module options related
with wavefront_synth.c.
Due to this rewrite, user will have to copy or make symlink the firmware
file appropriately to the standard firmware path such as /lib/firmware.

needs hp-jack auto-detection. The same routine as alc262-fujitsu model
is used.

Basic audio support for the iMac 24'' model released on 09/2006,
including
headphone jack detection with automatic speaker muting.
This iMac uses the Realtek ALC885 codec, not a Sigmatel one as in
other models.
Functionality has been tested for internal speakers, headphone and
microphone.

Added MPU401_INFO_UART_ONLY bitflag to avoid issueing UART_ENTER command
at opening streams. Some devices support only UART mode and give errors
to UART_ENTER.
A new module option, uart_enter, is added to snd-mpu401 driver.
For UART-only devices, set uart_enter=0.

The driver didn't allow to disable the integrated FM port (if available),
and this annoyed people who don't want FM port. Now fm_port=0 disables
the FM port unconditionally. fm_port=1 is used for enabling the integrated
FM port (as default).
Also fixed the documentation about this option.

This patch adds support for Gateway laptops based on the
Sigmatel STAC9250 codecs, as well as basic support for
STAC9202/9250/9251 codecs. Some Gateway systems require
probe_mask=1 to work. More work to be done prior to alsa 1.0.14

This driver adds limited support for the Conexant 5045 and 5047 HD Audio
codecs. Some issues still need to be resolved. The code is based
primarily on code from the Analog Devices AD1981 support and the Realtek
ALC260 support. Some code came from the original code developed by Alex
Pototskiy (see alsa bugtracker 2485).

Disable MSI support on HD-audio driver as default since there are too
many broken devices.
The module option is changed from disable_msi to enable_msi, too. For
turning MSI support on, pass enable_msi=1, instead.

Enable the support of mpu401 PCI port only when mpu_port=1 module
option is given, i.e. disabled as default.
It turned out that the check of integrated midi port isn't perfect
and caused hang-ups on some boards.

Attached you'll find an ALSA driver for AdLib FM cards. An AdLib card is
just an OPL2, which was already supported by sound/drivers/opl3, so only
very minimal bus-glue is needed. The patch applies cleanly to both
2.6.16 and 2.6.16-mm1.
The driver has been tested with an actual ancient 8-bit ISA AdLib card
and works fine. It also works fine for an OPL3 {,emulation} as still
found on many ISA soundcards but given that AdLib cards don't have their
own mixer, upping the volume from 0 might be a problem without the card
driver already loaded and driving the OPL3.

The patch adds the 'device_setup' module parameter and a specific
quirk to correctly initialize the audiophile usb device: this fixes
the distorted sound bug on the Analog capture port. Backward
compatibility is achieved by simply omitting the new parameter.

Fix the support of laptops with AD1986A HD-audio codec.
Added new models '3stack' and 'laptop'. Currently, fixed for FSC V2060
and Samsung M50.
Also fixed the description of missing models in ALSA-Configuration.txt.
