tw5864_frameinterval_get() only initializes its output when it successfully
identifies the video standard in tw5864_input. We get a warning here because
gcc can't always track the state if initialized warnings across a WARN()
macro, and thinks it might get used incorrectly in tw5864_s_parm:

Currently, IMX_VDOA and VIDEO_CODA only builds on ARCH_MXC.
That prevented me to build-test the driver, causing a bad patch
to be applied, and to see other warnings on this driver.
Hans wrote a similar patch, but his version was fold with a
warning fixup hunk.
So, I opted to keep my version.

With reordering enabled, the sequence init in CODA960 firmware requests an
unreasonable number of internal frames for some baseline profile streams.
Disabling the reordering feature manually if baseline streams are detected
fixes this problem.

The bitstream reader needs 512 bytes ready to read to examine the
headers in the first frame. If that frame is too small, prepend it

Keeping buffers filled into the bitstream on a temporary list instead of
immediately calling vb2_buffer_done on each of them immediately allows
start_streaming to correctly decide whether they should be marked as
done or requeued if an error occurs after the bitstream has been filled.

I don't know what the BWB unit is, I guess W is for write and one of the
Bs is for burst. All I know is that there repeatedly have been issues
with it hanging on certain streams (ENGR00223231, ENGR00293425), with
various firmware versions, sometimes blocking something related to the
GDI bus or the GDI AXI adapter. There are some error cases that we don't
know how to recover from without a reboot. Apparently this unit can be
disabled by setting bit 12 in the FRAME_MEM_CTRL mailbox register to
zero, so do that to avoid crashes.
Side effects are reduced burst lengths when writing out decoded frames
to memory, so there is an "enable_bwb" module parameter to turn it back
on.

There is no need to call v4l2_m2m_try_schedule to kick off draining the
bitstream buffer for the encoder, but we have to wake up the destination
queue in case there are no new OUTPUT buffers to be encoded and userspace
is already polling for new CAPTURE buffers.

Without calling tc358743_set_csi after stopping streaming (or calling
tc358743_s_dv_timings or tc358743_set_fmt from userspace after stopping
the stream), the i.MX6 MIPI CSI2 input fails waiting for lanes to enter

The streaming_maxburst module parameter is 0 offset (0..15)
so we must add 1 while using it for wBytesPerInterval
calculation for the SuperSpeed companion descriptor.
Without this host uvcvideo driver will always see the wrong
wBytesPerInterval for SuperSpeed uvc gadget and may not find
a suitable video interface endpoint.
e.g. for streaming_maxburst = 0 case it will always
fail as wBytePerInterval was evaluating to 0.

In the case of bounced ep0 requests, we must delay DMA operation until
after ->complete() otherwise we might overwrite contents of req->buf.
This caused problems with RNDIS gadget.

... I made a copy/paste error setting up the exception table entries
and ended up with two for label .L_cache_w3 and none for .L_cache_w2.
This means that if we take a machine check on:

Traced fans not spinning to incorrect PWM value being written.
The passed in value was written instead of the calulated value.

The calculation of the global physical address (GPA) on UV4 is
incorrect. The gnode_extra/upper global offset should only be
applied for fixed address space systems (UV1..3).

In my previous Commit ab9da627906a ("drm/i915: make context status
notifier head be per engine") rely on scheduler->current_workload[x]
to distinguish gvt spacial request from i915 request. But this is
not always true since no synchronization between workload_thread and
lrc irq handler.

Then current_workload[x] is not null but current request is of i915 self.
So instead we check ctx flag CONTEXT_FORCE_SINGLE_SUBMISSION. Only gvt
request set this flag and always set.

1. Partially removed use of 'test_objs' target, breaking force rebuild of
BPFOBJ, introduced in commit d498f8719a ("bpf: Rebuild bpf.o for any
dependency update").
Update target so dependency on BPFOBJ is restored.
2. Introduced commit 2047f1d8ba ("selftests: Fix the .c linking rule")
which fixes order of LDLIBS.
Commit d02d8986a7 ("bpf: Always test unprivileged programs") added
libcap dependency into CFLAGS. Use LDLIBS instead to fix linking of
test_verifier.
3. Introduced commit d83c3ba0b9 ("selftests: Fix selftests build to
just build, not run tests").
Reordering the Makefile allows us to remove the 'all' target.
Tested both:
selftests/bpf$ make
and
selftests$ make TARGETS=bpf
on Ubuntu 16.04.2.

SOF_TIMESTAMPING_OPT_STATS can be enabled and disabled
while packets are collected on the error queue.
So, checking SOF_TIMESTAMPING_OPT_STATS in sk->sk_tsflags
is not enough to safely assume that the skb contains
OPT_STATS data.
Add a bit in sock_exterr_skb to indicate whether the
skb contains opt_stats data.

__sock_recv_timestamp can be called for both normal skbs (for
receive timestamps) and for skbs on the error queue (for transmit
timestamps).
Commit 1c885808e4
(tcp: SOF_TIMESTAMPING_OPT_STATS option for SO_TIMESTAMPING)
assumes any skb passed to __sock_recv_timestamp are from
the error queue, containing OPT_STATS in the content of the skb.
This results in accessing invalid memory or generating junk
data.
To fix this, set skb->pkt_type to PACKET_OUTGOING for packets
on the error queue. This is safe because on the receive path
on local sockets skb->pkt_type is never set to PACKET_OUTGOING.
With that, copy OPT_STATS from a packet, only if its pkt_type
is PACKET_OUTGOING.

On CPU online the cpufreq core restores the previous governor (or
the previous "policy" setting for ->setpolicy drivers), but it does
not restore the min/max limits at the same time, which is confusing,
inconsistent and real pain for users who set the limits and then
suspend/resume the system (using full suspend), in which case the
limits are reset on all CPUs except for the boot one.
Fix this by making cpufreq_online() restore the limits when an inactive
policy is brought online.
The commit log and patch are inspired from Rafael's earlier work.

Commit c86a773c78 ("sctp: add dst_pending_confirm flag") introduced
a temporary variable "confirm" in sctp_packet_transmit.
But it broke the rule that longer lines should be above shorter ones.
Besides, this variable is not necessary, so this patch is to just
remove it and use tp->dst_pending_confirm directly.

The VRF driver takes a reference to the inet6_dev on the VRF device for
its rt6_local dst when handling local traffic through the VRF device as
a loopback. When the device is deleted the driver does a put on the idev
but does not reset rt6i_idev in the rt6_info struct. When the dst is
destroyed, dst_destroy calls ip6_dst_destroy which does a second put for
what is essentially the same reference causing it to be prematurely freed.
Reset rt6i_idev after the put in the vrf driver.
