On machines using systemd, trim timers can be enabled on a per-pool basis. Weekly and monthly timer units are provided. Timers can be enabled as follows: systemctl enable zfs-trim-weekly@rpool.timer --now systemctl enable zfs-trim-monthly@datapool.timer --now Each timer will pull in zfs-trim@${poolname}.service, which is not schedule-specific. OpenZFS is an advanced file system and volume manager which was originally developed for Solaris and is now maintained by the OpenZFS community. This repository contains the code for running OpenZFS on Linux and FreeBSD.

Supported Kernels
- The
METAfile contains the officially recognized supported Linux kernel versions. - Supported FreeBSD versions are any supported branches and releases starting from 12.2-RELEASE.
