Have libzfs call a special `zfs_prepare_disk` script before a disk is included into the pool. The user can edit this script to add things like a disk firmware update or a disk health check. Use of the script is totally optional. See the zfs_prepare_disk manpage for full details. OpenZFS is an advanced file system and volume manager which was originally developed for Solaris and is now maintained by the OpenZFS community. This repository contains the code for running OpenZFS on Linux and FreeBSD.

Supported Kernels
- The
METAfile contains the officially recognized supported Linux kernel versions. - Supported FreeBSD versions are any supported branches and releases starting from 12.2-RELEASE.
