Yuri Pankov af2939f227 Revert "openzfs: use IN_BASE instead of IN_FREEBSD_BASE in spa.h"
Further testing (sadly, after committing) shows that I missed the fact
that IN_BASE is used as userland/kernel delimiter (and not just for
FreeBSD-specific code unlike the IN_FREEBSD_BASE). Revert until I have
a full (and proper) fix.

This reverts commit d2a45e9e81.

Yuri Pankov d2a45e9e81 openzfs: use IN_BASE instead of IN_FREEBSD_BASE in spa.h
Consistently use IN_BASE to allow libzfs to get the same default
autotrim value as kernel does.

Note that this does not change the default value itself, rather
fixing the source of value and the value itself in e.g. zpool get
output if it was not set explicitly. (And as a reminder, default
value of autotrim on FreeBSD is 'on', despite what zpoolprops(7)
says currently.)

Warner Losh 2d38d9839b openzfs: Remove broken symlinks
These symlinks are broken. They point to files that don't exist, and
rely on having them be built using a 'in-tree' build that FreeBSD
doesn't use. They also show up as errors on grep -r. Since they are
broken and can't possibly work, remove them for now since non-functional
symlinks matching an upstrem repo that can't work in our repo aren't
worth the error messages.

Though one could argue the whole debian directory should be removed, I
did the minimal change necessary. These can return when the fundamental
issue is fixed and the contrib/debian tree is useful on FreeBSD systems.

unsigned long is not a uint64_t on 32-bit platforms. The zfs.4

Bjoern A. Zeeb dd4f32ae62 ath11k: import ath11k driver
Import BSD-3-Clause-Clear ath11k driver assumed to be
based on Linux kvalo/ath.git master at
6bae9de622d3ef4805aba40e763eb4b0975c4f6d.

Complement the driver to make compile on FreeBSD
using LinuxKPI with changes covered by #ifdef (__FreeBSD__).
Further select updates were applied since the initial import
in order to keep compiling along with other LinuxKPI based
drivers.

Add the module build framework but keep disconnected from the
build for now.
The current driver (or rather LinuxKPI) lacks support for some
"qcom" bits needed in order to get things working.
There was interest by various people to enhance support further.

We initially only plan to support PCI parts but it would be great
to further enhance qcom SoC support to run on several (cheap) APs.

The firmware is provided by port net/wifi-firmware-ath11k-kmod.

Given the lack of full license texts on most files this is
imported under the draft policy for handling SPDX files (D29226)
and with approval for BSD-3-Clause-Clear. [1]

Kyle Evans ce5a210997 openzfs: arm64: implement kfpu_begin/kfpu_end
This is part one of a fix for booting with ZFS on arm64 using
accelerated checksum implementations. Checksum benchmarking will
attempt to use the FPU, so we currently panic quickly on boot. BLAKE3
is still broken, as it clobbers x18 and we promptly discover that fact
as soon as we attempt to fetch curthread in kfpu_end().

Note that _STANDALONE is special-cased here, but ideally we wouldn't be
building the code that uses kfpu_begin()/kfpu_end() at all in the loader
environment.

There is one data corruption problem reported and fixed upstream, not
cherry-picked here yet.

On top of it the following fires under load:
        VERIFY(zil_replaying(zfsvfs->z_log, tx));

The patch which introduced the entire machinery is a revert candidate,
but as the machinery came with a dedicated feature flag, doing so would
render affected pools read-only at best. To be figured out.

As a temporary bandaid at least stop the active usage.
Note this patch does not make the feature disappear from zpool upgrade.

Mateusz Guzik d012836fb6 zfs: fix up EXDEV handling for clone_range
API contract requires VOPs to handle EXDEV internally, worst case by
falling back to the generic copy routine. This broke with the recent
changes.

While here whack custom loop to lock 2 vnodes with vn_lock_pair, which
provides the same functionality internally. write start/finish around
it plays no role so got eliminated.

One difference is that vn_lock_pair always takes an exclusive lock on
both vnodes. I did not patch around it because current code takes an
exclusive lock on the target vnode. zfs supports shared-locking for
writes, so this serializes different calls to the routine as is, despite
range locking inside. At the same time you may notice the source vnode
can get some traffic if only shared-locked, thus once more this goes
the safer route of exclusive-locking. Note this should be patched to
use shared-locking for both once the feature is considered stable.

Technically the switch to vn_lock_pair should be a separate change, but
it would only introduce churn immediately whacked by the rest of the
patch.

[note: technically the review is still in progress, but so is the
active breakage]

If block_cloning is disabled, or other errors from zfs_clone_range()
return an EXDEV we should fall back to vn_generic_copy_file_range().

This fixes issues when copying files on the same dataset with
block_cloning disabled.

Piotr Kubaj e552cac3d7 powerpc64*: port mlx5, OFED, KTLS and krping
Summary:
This review ports mlx5 driver, kernel's OFED stack (userland is already enabled), KTLS and krping to powerpc64 and powerpc64le.

krping requires a small change since it uses assembly for amd64 / i386.

NOTE: On powerpc64le RDMA works fine in the userspace with libmlx5, but on powerpc64 it does not. The problem is that contrib/ofed/libmlx5/doorbell.h checks for SIZEOF_LONG but this macro exists on neither powerpc64* nor amd64. Thus, the file silently goes to the fallback function written for 32-bit architectures. It works fine on little-endian architectures, but causes a hard fail on big-endian. It's possible it may also cause some runtime issues on little-endian.
Thus, on powerpc64 I verified that RDMA works with krping.

Mateusz Guzik 829f0bcb5f vfs: add the concept of vnode state transitions
To quote from a comment above vput_final:
<quote>
* XXX Some filesystems pass in an exclusively locked vnode and strongly depend
* on the lock being held all the way until VOP_INACTIVE. This in particular
* happens with UFS which adds half-constructed vnodes to the hash, where they
* can be found by other code.
</quote>

As is there is no mechanism which allows filesystems to denote that a
vnode is fully initialized, consequently problems like the above are
only found the hard way(tm).

Add rudimentary support for state transitions, which in particular allow
to assert the vnode is not legally unlocked until its fate is decided
(either construction finishes or vgone is called to abort it).

The new field lands in a 1-byte hole, thus it does not grow the struct.

This cherry-picks upstream ed566bf1cd

    - Add a zfs_exit() call in an error path, otherwise a lock is
      leaked.
    - Remove the fid_gen > 1 check. That appears to be Linux-specific:
zfsctl_snapdir_fid() sets fid_gen to 0 or 1 depending on whether
the snapshot directory is mounted. On FreeBSD it fails, making
      snapshot dirs inaccessible via NFS.

Bjoern A. Zeeb f808c43ad9 iwlwifi: enforce FreeBSD specific (expected) behaviour
iwlwifi can return early from probe (in FreeBSD attach) while a separate
thread is still grinding loading the firmware and setting things up.
For us this means that kldload succeeded but we may not have a physical
wireless interface (com) yet but the rc framework might already try to
configure a vap on one.

Wait until we get a firmware completion event from the other thread
(on success or error) and block returning. That way we can ensure that
the "hw" (or com in net80211 terms) is there when we return from attach
matching the expected FreeBSD driver behaviour.

Bjoern A. Zeeb e3a0b1202b LinuxKPI: 80211 / iwlwifi: improve queue management
For one initialise vif->hw_queues later set in lkpi_80211_txq_tx_one()
for drivers using them. This may still need slightly more cleanup once
we get QUEUE_CONTROL-supporting drivers into the tree.

For the other rework and improve how we deal with tid/ac/txq in
lkpi_80211_txq_tx_one() and cleanup old comments and unused code.
This seems to reduce (remove) "Invalid TXQ id" reports from iwlwifi.
(The assumption is that the frame(s) triggering this WARN_ONCE or the
added FreeBSD specific logging were sent with lkpi_80211_mo_tx()).

Adjust the one logging from e674ddec0b
to IWL_DEBUG_TX so that now this is fixed it is also not always logged
anymore but leave it in case we need to further debug queues in the
future.

Bjoern A. Zeeb 26a3694833 iwlwifi: move an ieee80211_get_tid() call
Introduce a local change. It seems ieee80211_get_tid() does not deal
with non-dataqos packets unlike net80211's ieee80211_gettid().
Gernally all calls in Linux drivers to ieee80211_get_tid() seem to
be proceeded by an ieee80211_is_data_qos() check.

Moving the ieee80211_get_tid() has no difference in the result, but
(a) saves us the call if we do not need it due to an earlier return,
and (b) allows us to put an assert into the LinuxKPI ieee80211_get_tid()
implementation to avoid accidentally returning random frame header data
in case of a missing earlier ieee80211_is_data_qos() check in (future/
other) drivers.

Bjoern A. Zeeb 17732dd8f0 Revert "rtw88: split driver up into a core and pci part"
After some discussion, for now, simply revert the change to split
the driver up into if_rtw88_core.ko and if_rtw88_pci.ko as we do
not have an if_rtw88.ko anymore. We do have code trying to
auto-load modules, e.g. ifconfig, based on if_xxx.ko.

We could, based on Makefile magic or further code, generate a
if_rtw88.ko module with proper dependencies and keep this but for
simplicity stay with the one slightly larger module for now.
Should code appear to do this "properly" we can revisit this once
USB support has landed.

Slightly update the module Makefile to keep the separation of files
between core and pci bits visible and maintainable for the future.

This reverts commit 0f7b9777f8.

4e051428044d5c47cd2c81c3b154788efe07ee11 (tag: wt-2022-06-10).

This is in preparation to apply USB changes to work on these and
LinuxKPI for them over the next weeks, as well to debug a
reported issue, and possibly extract and upstream some local fixes.

Bjoern A. Zeeb 0f7b9777f8 rtw88: split driver up into a core and pci part
Split the driver up into two modules (if_rtw88_pci.ko and rtw88_core.ko).
This is in preparation for the hopefully eventually upcoming USB support
using the same driver core.

Note: this changes the module name to load to if_rtw88_pci.ko instead of
if_rtw88.ko. If using devmatch(8) everything should stay the same as
the driver name (used for net.wlan.devices) stays rtw88. If using
kld_list in rc.conf or loader.conf you will need to adjust the name.
Update man page for this.

cases, though all would give an error message so would have gone noticed
if happened.
While here fix a typo in one of these error messages.

Bjoern A. Zeeb 75c779fb27 iwlwifi: disable more MEI (Management Engine) code
It is unclear why this hasn't bothered anyone in months; I can only assume
optimization levels but it seems there were unresolved symbols in
iwlwifi after d9836fb4b9:
link_elf_obj: symbol iwl_mvm_send_roaming_forbidden_event undefined

Hide more of the currently unsupported (GPL-only) MEI (Management Engine)
code behind #ifdef to avoid this.

Bjoern A. Zeeb 645886d028 iwlwifi: add sysctl to dump PCI IDs/ names / firmware-prefixes
Add a FreeBSD-specifc SYSCTL_PROC to dump the list of
PCI IDs / name / firmware-prefix which can be post-processed
for man pages (iwlwifi.4 and iwlwififw.4) or the wiki.

The output still yields duplicates depending on by what information
you need so one may wants to filter them out (try not to use sort/uniq).

Bjoern A. Zeeb 6cf748ad94 LinuxKPI 802.11 / iwlwifi / rtw88 : re-factor ieee802211_sta for MLO
Working on an update for rtw88 baed on wireless-testing I ran into
a build issue with struct ieee802211_sta. Some fields were factored
out into their own struct apparently preparing for MLO (Multi Link
Operation).

In order to be able to update one driver we have to adjust both
rtw88 and iwlwifi (and the ones still out-of-tree) now.

This is mostly a sed-replace job and no functional changes are
intended.

Bjoern A. Zeeb fac1f59384 iwlwifi: update driver from iwlwifi-next
Import code update from iwlwifi-next
 at e89600ebeeb14d18c0b062837a84196f72542830.

This amongst other things removes the deprecated BCAST_FILTERING option,
which we had disabled before due to firmware issues.
Also prepares us for the next firmware update.

The "enable_ini" module option has become an integer with a
sysctl proc equivalent handler. Disable the module parameter changing
for the moment until we'll have working LinuxKPI support or implement
it as SYSCTL_PROC in FreeBSD directly.

Bjoern A. Zeeb e140d551b7 rtw88: deal with debug messages
The 'failed to write TX skb to HCI' error message is twice in the code.
Print the function name and along with the message and also the reported
error so it can possibly be helpful.

The 'failed to get tx report from firmware' was purposefully changed
away from debugging in the upstream Linux driver in
584dce175f0461d5d9d63952a1e7955678c91086 . Revert that decision and
extend the logging by the actual queue length so we get an idea how
sever the problem is (see PR for a report).

Roger Pau Monné b93f47eaee xen/acpi: upload Cx and Px data to Xen
When FreeBSD is running as dom0 (initial domain) on a Xen system it
has access to the native ACPI tables and is the OSPM. However the
hypervisor is the entity in charge of the CPU idle and frequency
states, and in order to perform this duty it requires information
found the ACPI dynamic tables that can only be parsed by the OSPM.

Introduce a new Xen specific ACPI driver to fetch the Processor
related information and upload it to Xen. Note that this driver needs
to take precedence over the generic ACPI CPU driver when running as
dom0, so downgrade the probe score of the native driver to
BUS_PROBE_DEFAULT in order for the Xen specific driver to use
BUS_PROBE_SPECIFIC.

Tested on an Intel NUC to successfully parse and upload both the Cx and
Px states to Xen.

Bjoern A. Zeeb 73d4ebea35 rtw88: import firmware for Realtek's rtw88 supported chipsets.

rtw88 driver.

This is based on linux-firmware at 681281e49fb6778831370e5d94e6e1d97f0752d6.

The license of the firmware matches the previous rtwnfw(4) firmware
files (modulo a Copyright year) and you can find a copy in
sys/contrib/dev/rtw88fw/LICENCE.rtlwifi_firmware.txt.

Add build infrastructure to create the .ko files but do not yet hook
