Ok, my mistake ;-)))
...
I guess the only problem was that kviewshell wasn't uptodate because
kdegraphics's compilation aborted in kiconedit... Works fine now.

What a mess.

The desktop file referred to libkviewpart, the lib was created as libkdvi...
and the intent was libkdvipart ! -> all libkdvipart now.
