Yury Smolsky cb80c28961 test: eliminate use of Perl in test/fixedbugs/bug248.go
This change enables bug248 to be tested with Go code.
For that, it adds a flag -1 to error check and run directory
with one package failing compilation prior the last package
which should be run.

Specifically, the "p" package in bug1.go file was renamed into "q"
to compile them in separate steps,
bug2.go and bug3.go files were reordered,
bug2.go was changed into non-main package.

Updates #25586.

Richard Musiol e3c684777a all: skip unsupported tests for js/wasm
The general policy for the current state of js/wasm is that it only
has to support tests that are also supported by nacl.

The test nilptr3.go makes assumptions about which nil checks can be
removed. Since WebAssembly does not signal on reading a null pointer,
all nil checks have to be explicit.

isharipo b44e73eacb test/fixedbugs: fix bug248 and bug345
When test/run script was removed, these two tests
were changed to be executed by test/run.go.
Because errchk does not exit with non-zero status on
errors, they were silently failing for a while.

This change makes 2 things:

1. Compile tested packages in GOROOT/test to match older runner script
behavior (strictly required only in bug345, optional in bug248)

2. Check command output with "(?m)^BUG" regexp.
It approximates older `grep -q '^BUG' that was used before.

See referenced issue for detailed explanation.

Russ Cox cf932cd897 all: retire architecture letter in file names, public API
This CL removes the remaining visible uses of the "architecture letter" concept.
(They are no longer in tool names nor in source directory names.)

Because the architecture letter concept is now gone, delete GOCHAR
from "go env" output, and change go/build.ArchChar to return an
error always.

The architecture letter is still used in the compiler and linker sources
as a clumsy architecture enumeration, but that use is not visible to
Go users and can be cleaned up separately.

Russ Cox 0f4132c907 all: build and use go tool compile, go tool link
This CL fixes the build to use the newly created go tool compile
and go tool link in place of go tool 5g, go tool 5l, and so on.

See golang-dev thread titled "go tool compile, etc" for background.

Although it was not a primary motivation, this conversion does
reduce the wall clock time and cpu time required for make.bash
by about 10%.

Josh Bleecher Snyder 209dd4cdc1 test: fix windows build
Broken by e7173dfdfd

Fix by simply disabling the relevant tests.

* bug248 and bug345 require errchk, but we can't
  rely on perl being available.
* bug369 is disabled anyway.

* bug248, bug345, bug369, and bug429 were ported from bash commands to run scripts. bug369 remains disabled.

Russ Cox cd22afa07b test: expand run.go's errorcheck, make clear which bugs run
Today, if run.go doesn't understand a test header line it just ignores
the test, making it too easy to write or edit tests that are not actually
being run.

- expand errorcheck to accept flags, so that bounds.go and escape*.go can run.
- create a whitelist of skippable tests in run.go; skipping others is an error.
- mark all skipped tests at top of file.
