To build a Go installation
with <code><a href="/cmd/cgo">cgo</a></code> support, which permits Go
programs to import C libraries, a C compiler such as <code>gcc</code>
or <code>clang</code> must be installed first. Do this using whatever
installation method is standard on the system.
