# ansible.builtin.url

Validates a string to conform to the URL standard.
|
|
|
|
## Parameters
|
|
| Parameter | Type | Description |
|
|
| ----------- | ---------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
|
|
| **schemes** | list / elements=string | Subset of URI schemas to validate against, otherwise **any** scheme is considered valid. |
|
|
|
