Follow-up the change in 459b8d22e5 (tests: do not borrow from COPYING
and README from the real source, 2015-02-15) by not shipping a full
copy of older versions of the top-level "COPYING" and "README" files.
The tests that use them just need the small blurb at the top of
"COPYING" as test data, or mock data that's dissimilar. Let's provide
that with a "COPYING_test_data" function instead.
We're not replacing this with some other generic test
data (e.g. "lorum ipsum") because these tests require test file header
to be the old "COPYING" file. See e.g. "t4003-diff-rename-1.sh" which
changes the file, and then does full "test_cmp" comparisons on the
resulting "git diff" output.
This change only changes tests that used the "lib-diff.sh" library,
but splits up what they need into a new "lib-diff-data.sh". A
subsequent commit will change related tests that were missed in
459b8d22e5.
For the test in "t4008-diff-break-rewrite.sh" the "README" file can go
away in favor of echoing the line "some dissimilar content" to a file
in the one test that needed it.
The point of that test is to start with files "A" and "B", and then
have A be more similar to the state of "B" than to its old version (by
copying over the content from the "COPYING" file). Just comparing the
pre-image of "some dissimilar content" and later a munged version of
the "COPYING" output serves that purpose.
While we're at it get rid of a stray "echo $tree" debugging line added
in 15d061b435 ([PATCH] Fix the way diffcore-rename records unremoved
source., 2005-05-27), and stop calling "hash-object" to get the hash
of an object we've just added to the index. We can instead extract
that information from the index itself with "rev-parse".

Rename the "diff-lib" to "lib-diff". With this rename and preceding
commits there is no remaining t/*lib* which doesn't follow the
convention of being called t/lib-*.

Sort the lines starting with "/", the only out-of-place line was added
along with most of the file in 614f4f0f35 (Fix the remaining tests
that failed with core.autocrlf=true, 2017-05-09).

The test t4256-am-format-flowed.sh requires carefully applying a
patch after ignoring padding whitespace. This breaks if the file
is munged to include CRLF line endings instead of LF.

The `chainlint` target compares actual output to expected output, where
the actual output is generated from files that are specifically checked
out with LF-only line endings. So the expected output needs to be
checked out with LF-only line endings, too.

These are essentially lifted from https://github.com/trast/tbdiff, with
light touch-ups to account for the command now being named `git
range-diff`.
Apart from renaming `tbdiff` to `range-diff`, only one test case needed
to be adjusted: 11 - 'changed message'.
The underlying reason it had to be adjusted is that diff generation is
sometimes ambiguous. In this case, a comment line and an empty line are
added, but it is ambiguous whether they were added after the existing
empty line, or whether an empty line and the comment line are added
*before* the existing empty line. And apparently xdiff picks a different
option here than Python's difflib.

The test t4051-diff-function-context.sh passes on Linux when
core.autocrlf=true even without marking its support files as LF-only,
but they fail when core.autocrlf=true in Git for Windows' SDK.
The reason is that `grep ... >file.c.new` will keep CR/LF line endings
on Linux (obviously treating CRs as if they were regular characters),
but will be converted to LF-only line endings with MSYS2's grep that is
used in Git for Windows.
As we do not want to validate the way the available `grep` works, let's
just mark the input as LF-only and move on.

The test suite is mainly developed on Linux and MacOSX, which is the
reason that nobody thought to mark files as LF-only as needed.
The symptom is a test suite that fails left and right when being checked
out using Git for Windows (which defaults to core.autocrlf=true).
Mostly, the problems stem from Git's (LF-only) output being compared to
hard-coded files that are checked out with line endings according to
core.autocrlf (which is of course incorrect). This includes the two test
files in t/diff-lib/, README and COPYING.
This patch can be validated even on Linux by using this cadence:
git config core.autocrlf true
rm .git/index && git stash
make -j15 DEVELOPER=1 test

This establishes what the "bad" whitespaces are for this
project.
The rules are:
- Unless otherwise specified, indent with SP that could be
replaced with HT are not "bad". But SP before HT in the
indent is "bad", and trailing whitespaces are "bad".
- For C source files, initial indent by SP that can be replaced
with HT is also "bad".
- Test scripts in t/ and test vectors in its subdirectories can
contain anything, so we make it unrestricted for now.
Anything "bad" will be shown in WHITESPACE error indicator in
diff output, and "apply --whitespace=warn" will warn about it.
