Mark some tests that match "*apply*" as passing when git is compiled
with SANITIZE=leak. They'll now be listed as running under the
"GIT_TEST_PASSING_SANITIZE_LEAK=true" test mode (the "linux-leaks" CI
target).

Now that we call test_oid_init in the setup for all test scripts,
there's no point in calling it individually. Remove all of the places
where we've done so to help keep tests tidy.

Instead of using a specific invalid hard-coded object ID, generate one
of the appropriate length by looking one up in the translation tables.

Breaks in a test assertion's && chain can potentially hide
failures from earlier commands in the chain.
Commands intended to fail should be marked with !, test_must_fail, or
test_might_fail. The examples in this patch do not require that.

This patch introduces the remove_or_warn function which is a
generalised version of the {unlink,rmdir}_or_warn functions. It takes
an additional parameter indicating the mode of the file to be removed.
The patch also modifies certain functions to use remove_or_warn
where appropriate, and adds a test case for a bug fixed by the use
of remove_or_warn.
